Imagine the westoroes total war team scrubbing the m2tw mod and starting from scratch in rome2. Total war which is currently in alpha stages but with a devoted mod team working hard to bring it to a full release. Westeros/ game of thrones mod for rome 2 the mod for medieval was great but it obviously doesn't stand against the newer technology in rome 2. This mod is a full overhaul for total war:

Total war based on and inspired by game of thrones. But the best got mods are found with other games. Medieval 2's is better in every way.

Rome also has a mod, but when i tried it daenerys has the portrait of a middle aged man and her dragons were errors. Thrones of britannia was released on 3 may 2018. Impossible due to lack of campaign map editing ability.

I have only seen a couple of lotr and got unit mods which only function on the rome 2 vanilla game. For attila 1 lotr mod is (still) in development: Medieval 2 offers more mod ability, allowing full customization of the campaign map, but doesn't have nearly as good looking models.
